It was a big week for fashion (and W properties). At an elegant bash at the W Downtown Residences on May 7, Jason Wu, who designed the ivory silk organza gown worn by Michelle Obama on Inauguration Night, was announced as the special guest designer for this year’s Jeffrey Fashion Cares benefit. And on May 12 at the W Atlanta-Perimeter, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Sheree Whitfield unveiled her much-anticipated clothing line, She by Sheree, joined by such luminaries as “fifth Housewife” Dwight Eubanks (pictured), news anchor Jovita Moore, producer Jazze Pha designer Mychael Knight and her fellow Housewives.

Other celebs making the rounds last week included former Superman Dean Cain, who attended the premiere of his new film “The Way Home” at the Fox Theatre on May 12. The faith-based indie stars Cain as Carollton, Ga., utility contractor Randy Simpkins, whose 2-year-old son went missing in March of 2000. Meanwhile, pin-up girl and former tennis star Anna Kournikova served up some sound advice for kids on May 13, stressing the importance of physical fitness as part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's 103rd National Conference and the new Cartoon Network initiative "Get Animated!"
